Summer Camps 2024
Join Roaring Fork Fencers Club for camps in Snowmass Village and Glenwood Springs this summer! We offer both competitive camps for experienced fencers as well as beginner camps for fencers-to-be.
Beginner Camps
Beginner camps are where you start your fencing journey! Learn the basics of footwork, bladework, tactics, rules, and more. After completing our beginner camp, you will be ready to join our competitive program in the Roaring Fork Valley or return home and find a fencing club near you.
No prior experience is required. Campers should bring snacks, water, and a light lunch. Athletic clothing and shoes are required. All other equipment is loaned out for the week. Please bring a bag to carry equipment to and from camp.
Beginner camp 2024 dates:
Glenwood Springs Community Art Center: June 3-7, $385
Snowmass Village Recreation Center: June 17-21, $415
Snowmass Village Recreation Center: July 29-August 2, $415
Camps are open to ages 7-14 (age 7 at start of camp through graduating 8th graders).
All camps run Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm. Join us for an in-camp tournament on the last day of camp to see your students in action!
Some financial assistance is available as needed. Please contact us to arrange.
We do not offer before- or after-care. Please drop-off and pick-up your camper no more than 15 minutes prior to or after camp.

Competitive Camps
Competitive camps are open to all fencers that have completed a beginner class or camp. We welcome fencers from our club as well others! Join a fun summer camp focused on sharpening skills, developing tactics, and fostering community. Individual lessons available by request before or after camp hours for additional fee.
Campers must have a minimum of electric foil, body cord, and lame. All other equipment can be borrowed for the week. Please notify us in advance if you need to borrow equipment.
Campers should bring water, snacks, and a light lunch.
Camps run 9a-1p, Monday through Friday. We will have an in-camp tournament on Friday.
